We plan environmentally-conscious events and tours you and your guests will want to attend again and again. 

 

To set the foundation for success, we establish clear mission statements, broadly research resources and bring creative design and personal customer service elements with each event or tour.

Our events have included:  numerous weddings (including long-distance sites) ♦ street festivals for 10,000 participants ♦  farm celebrations  community service projects involving over 400 volunteers dog shows art festivals  outdoor fundraising dinners neighborhood-wide yard sales  fundraising garden parties & house parties outdoor movies children & adult themed birthday parties.
 
Our "Sustainable Living & Slow Eating" Tours are locally focused in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed on weekends.  We plan at least one international tour to benefit a local 501c3 partner organization.  March, 2012 - BRAZIL!!!

Things We Always Do

 
  1.  Recycle all glass, cardboard, paper and plastic containers
  2. Compost all produce scraps and biodegradables and deliver safe food leftovers to soup kitchens at your request
  3. Print on recycled paper and use soybased inks - nontoxic materials for banners
  4. Build our supply base at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, second-hand shops and previous events
  5. Use Energy Star appliances and electronics and (when possible) hybrid vehicles
  6. Integrate recycled products as primary elements into decoration
  7. We make the event fun and full of uniqueness and personality
  8. Plan seasonal menus based upon local availability at farmers markets
  9. Purchase flowers from a farm-direct organic wholesaler or farmers market
  10. Support fair trade & green businesses
  11. Educate your guests about sustainability practices they can do and green initiatives taken at your event
  12. Promote the work of local and national environmental organizations
  13. Stay within your budget
